This year's $1,500 buy-in Millionaire Maker event drew a field of 7,759 entries to create a $10,477,350 prize pool. The top 1,165 finishing players in this event received a slice of the massive prize pool and Canada's Pablo Mariz earned $1,221,407 as well as his first gold bracelet for the victory!

2016 WSOP: Two Players Get A Million Each In Millionaire Maker Event

Jason DewittThe $1,500 buy-in Millionaire Maker event ended early this morning after 4 days of intensive play. The tournament drew a field of 7,190 entries, the 8th biggest live tournament in poker history, and 32-year-old America poker pro Jason Dewitt received $1,065,403 and his second gold bracelet for being the last man standing - while runner-up Garrett Greer (also from USA) received $1 million as a "consolations prize".

2015 WSOP: 17 Players Left In MILLIONAIRE MAKER Event

The final 17 players of 7,725 entries will return tomorrow for Day 4 of the Millionaire Maker $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event. Despite such a massive field of players, there are still several big names alive and kicking, including Erick Lindgren, Oliver Busquet, Mike Sexton (picture), and Andrew Lichtenberger.

Jonathan Dimming Wins Event #8: Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em

The Millionaire Maker event ($1,500 buy-in) saw a record field of 7,977 entries that created a massive $10,768,950 prize pool! After 4 days of play, including the final table that lasted for 12 hours of play!, Jonathan Dimming from Buffalo, New York, had all the chips in play and received an incredible $1,319,587 along with his first gold bracelet.

Benny Chen Wins Event #6: $1,500 "Millionaire Maker" No-Limit Hold'em

The brand new event began on Saturday with 6,343 entrants and concluded yesterday after four days of play. Benny Chen brought the largest stack to the final table, which kicked off yesterday, but lost the chip lead almost straight away. He was second in chips when four players remained.

Four-handed play lasted 95 hands with each player taking turns at holding the lead. However, at the end of the night, it was Chen who was the last man standing and received the first prize of $1,198,780 and the coveted gold bracelet!

2013 WSOP: Benny Chen Leads The Way Into The First Ever "Millionaire Maker" Final Table

The first ever "Millionaire Maker" event (Event #6: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em) has been a huge success at the 44th Annual World Series of Poker! The brand new tournament attracted 6,343 players and the final table is now set after 3 days of action-packed poker. The final table, which begins tomorrow, will see 10 players battle it out for a first prize of $1,199,104!

Benny Chen (picture) will bring the largest pile of chips to play (5,865,000), but it won't be a walk in the park as he's closely followed by poker star Dan Kelly (4,130,000), who laid hands on his first WSOP bracelet in 2010 by winning the $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max event.
