GreySnowPokerreview overviewOverview
GreySnowPoker is an online poker room launched in May 2018.

As said on their site, “GreySnowPoker is the newest kid on the block for online poker, and the first real money Native American poker site to be granted an Isle of Man Gaming License. We’re not the biggest - and that's our strength. We give you poker how it should be played; simplified and stripped back.”

The unique poker site – GreySnowPoker is proud to be different to other poker sites. This poker site has come to life thanks to the backing of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. The site will be used to increase awareness of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma across the globe, as well as promoting and supporting the rights of all North America’s indigenous peoples. GreySnowPoker takes its name from the tribal name of Bah Kho-Je, translated as People of the Grey Snow. Their history, culture and values are deeply-rooted in the site. They provide a poker experience that is focused on improving the poker eco-system, delivering high-quality customer support and player integrity, while creating an entertaining experience for all players.

By providing both instant play and downloadable poker software with prompt and timely payouts, good level of security, fair gaming, exciting tournaments, and rewarding player bonuses and promos, GreySnowPoker is indeed a promising poker site that every player who’s looking for a new poker adventure will enjoy!

What makes GreySnowPoker a nice poker site to play at is they’re going out on a limb to challenge the poker community. Their vision is to create a playing environment that has a positive effect on the industry, which is why they are replacing the traditional rake-based fees with a service-fee model. No more taking from the pot, you just pay a simple charge when you decide to leave the table. What is this service-fee model called FairPlay and why do they think it will create a better poker playing experience? The site believes it will improve the user experience, sustainability, transparency, integrity, and overall legitimacy of the games.

The FairPlay Lobby – As with brick-and-mortar poker rooms, the FairPlay lobby does not allow a player to choose which table they play at. When you sit down at one of their tables, you are assigned to that table. One of their concerns with the current culture of online poker is the predatory style of behavior that exists in cash games, with players refusing to play against other players of equal skill whilst preying on the recreational players. With the FairPlay lobby, they mitigate this type of behavior by preventing players knowing who they are playing against. If they sit down and then decide to leave, they will be charged 3% of the amount they leave the table with - irrespective of the number of hands they played. Because of this situation, players will stay at the table for longer – and with the players they’re seated with. The site believes this will create an environment that is more conducive to a fair and a more authentic game.

GreySnowPoker is regarded as a very unique online poker site to play at thanks to their well-rounded offers; they clearly do not take any rake at all thanks to their FairPlay Model as well as they have a nice selection of games and exciting game play. You can play your favorite cash games and play multiple tables at the same time. If you want fast-paced poker action, you can play some quick cash games, or test your patience, luck and skill at the tournaments. You can even polish up your poker skills using their play money tables.

GreySnowPoker does not accept US players.

GreySnowPoker utilizes a third party software to run their online poker games.
The graphics and design of GreySnowPoker is simple yet stylish, which is mostly composed of black, blue, neon pink and white shades. Some players might find it rather too simple, but for others, it is definitely satisfactory with them. A neon pink-outlined bird is used to represent the Grey Snow Poker logo.

Once you have set up your account, registering and playing at GreySnowPoker is simple and pretty much straightforward. User registration is automatic. The user interface is very user-friendly and intuitive with modern and informative layout design, making it easy even for the beginners to navigate and join in.

When you launch the GreySnowPoker software, you will be directly taken to their main Lobby where you will find their full range of cash games, limits, money type (Real Money or Play Money), and tournaments. A short tutorial will also appear (Welcome, Tiles, Filters). You can also access at the Lobby your Account, adjust the Settings via Table Options (animations, sound, game options like auto engage time bank, four color deck, auto switch between tables), and you can opt to see the RealMoney or PlayMoney tables available. Their neatly designed Tournament Lobby will show you tournament game types in a very organized view. The software has features such as multi-tabling, resizing table windows, hand replayer, statistics, cool avatars and table themes, player notes, and overall a responsive lobby. Sound effects are quite classic and rather old-school, with beeps and other such sounds mixed with the sound of chips tossed around the table. Extra features of GreySnowPoker software that players will surely love include: unique FairPlay model, a responsive site for tablets and smartphones, as well as automated deposit and withdrawals.
GreySnowPoker’s software supports online poker games both in a downloadable and no-download (instant play) version. Their available languages are English, Russian, Spanish (Latam), and Brazilian Portuguese. They accept most currencies but they mainly use USD on the site.
On their site it says, “Everybody should experience the win at GreySnowPoker. We understand that poker is about the thrill, the fun and the excitement. Real money poker is the best way to get that winning feeling, and we want you to play and win against friends and companions. You won't find the largest number of games or the most players. What you’ll find is a great selection of tournaments and cash games played on great looking tables.”

Since GreySnowPoker is a fairly new online poker site, information on player traffic is not available for now. More detailed information will be available soon.
GreySnowPoker has very soft competition. As the site was just recently launched and is in its early stages, it is understandable that it has a few registered players during peak hours as compared to other bigger poker sites, but on the other hand, this means that if you have fewer opponents to defeat then you make more money in the tournaments. Most of the soft-competition players are found at the Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha tables.
There are several tournaments available at GreySnowPoker. They currently provide Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and other various tournaments across various limits and formats. Tournament types include freeroll tournaments, freezeouts, daily bounty and guaranteed tournaments.

Thanks to this review, I complete my understand about this new site. A few days ago, I was looking for some Christmas`s news in my page (BRM is hiding some gifts without proper announce), and there was the possibility to make a tracked register in this site. Without any doubt, I went for it! With my primitive english is hard for me reading a large description and tutorial. So, in several minutes I was sawing the web client. Really I don´t like it. There wasn´t any menu to see all the offer: type of games, players playing, players registered, schedule...etc. I found the way to a look of the detail list, and then I have my first surprise: There are four freerolls of $ 50 by day! Immediately I start to play in one of them. I was a bit confusing. I never played in a web client, so the browser bored me and if I put it in full screen, I had an uncomfortable feeling because I have a big monitor. It wasn´t a good experience. So I was waiting for my free $ 5 tickets of the Bankroll Mob´s promotion to see how is the local tournament, and I went here and found that the poker room has a poker client downloadable! So I pick up it, and I´m installing in my computer. Then I could make a new thread with the news, but I´m reading in the forum very lucky histories of our partners, that make good money ($200/300) with their $ 5 promotion. So maybe we could find the original lake of fishes!...and could make something strong to put in our wallet! I go for it, Good Luck!
