SwC Pokerreview overviewOverview
SwC Poker is an online poker room that has been launched in March 2015. This particular online poker site mainly accepts the cryptocurrency Bitcoin.

By providing excellent downloadable software and an instant-play HTML 5 version playable right in your browser, instant and fast payouts, strong security measures, fair gaming, exciting tournaments, incredible player bonuses and promos, and a great rewards program, SwC Poker is indeed a poker site that every modern Bitcoin-using poker player will certainly enjoy!

SwC Poker is the new name of Seals with Clubs Poker that was established in 2011, a site considered to be the biggest Bitcoin poker operator in January 2015. However due to operational security threats that sent the site into a perpetual state of jeopardy, they decided to close down the site. A few weeks later, some team members have revived the poker room and renamed it as SwC Poker.

SwC Poker is an online poker site that operates in a safe and secure environment. According to them, “We are a small team of humans dedicated to building a secure, fair, low rake Bitcoin poker platform. We offer an honest, secure Bitcoin poker room.  Player balances are denominated in Bitcoin, and all cash-ins and cash-outs are done via Bitcoin. No traditional currency is ever used. The organization chooses to remain anonymous. We’re committed to Bitcoin poker for the long haul.”

One of the most attractive features of SwC Poker is that they have low rake which is at 2.5% (the usual rake range in poker games on other sites is from 2.5% to 10%). SwC Poker offers a cool rake back program that rewards players up to 50% in rakeback.

SwC Poker (with its former name Seals with Clubs, is the first online poker room offering Bitcoin for US players), has a slogan “No Banking, Only Bitcoin”. Withdrawals are processed in 12 hours, most of them instant. Also, as a decentralized poker game, players will not be charged for deposits (whereas a Bitcoin network fee is deducted from withdrawals). You can play your favorite cash games, and you can even play multiple tables at the same time. If you want fast-paced poker action, you can try their Fast tables while sitting at the OFC Pineapple cash game tables, or test your patience, luck and hone your skill at the tournaments.
SwC Poker accepts US players.

SwC Poker software reviewSoftware
SwC Poker is owned by “a small team of humans dedicated to building a secure, fair, low rake Bitcoin poker platform. The organization chooses to remain anonymous.”

SwC Poker utilizes the latest Bitcoin Poker 3.0 software to run their online poker games. The software makes the website very user-friendly, and their graphics are well-designed as well as very pleasing to the eyes.

The graphics and design of SwC Poker is simple and in a retro-pixel style, which is mostly composed of green, black, gold and white shades. Green and gold colors are used to represent the SwC Poker logo, with a black silhouette of a seal as its background.

Once you have set up your Bitcoin account, registering and playing at SwC Poker is simple and pretty much straightforward. User registration is automatic and no identification is needed to open an account. The user interface is very user-friendly and intuitive with modern info layout design, making it easy even for the beginners to navigate and register smoothly. Only an e-mail address is required to create and use an account.

When you launch the SwC Poker software, you will be directly taken to their main Lobby where you will find their full range of cash/ring games, tournaments, and Sit and Go’s. You can also access at the Lobby your Profile, adjust the Settings (sound, game settings, table & themes, avatars). Their efficiently designed Tournament Lobby will show you tournament game types in a very organized view. The software has features such as multi-tabling, resizing table windows, four-color deck, Run It Twice option, cascade tables, hand history, player notes, table stats, player-to-player transfers, and a responsive lobby. Sound effects are quite classic and rather old-school, with beeps and other sounds mixed with the sound of chips tossed around the table. Extra features of SwC Poker software that players will surely love include: live community chats, zero confirmation transactions, responsive site for tablets and smartphones, and automated deposit and withdrawals.

SwC Poker’s Bitcoin Poker 3.0 software supports online poker games both in a downloadable version and a no-download, instant play version. Their available site language is English. Their client software is available in 9 different languages. The cryptocurrency Bitcoin is the only currency they accept on the site.

SwC PokertrafficreviewTraffic
At the moment, SwC Poker is working diligently to increase the traffic on their website by offering lots of wonderful promotions and bonuses. Most of the traffic used to be only at the Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha games and tournaments, but now there is always lots of action at any game. SwC Poker has a display counter on their front page showing how many are currently online, how many players are active, and how many tables are being used.

SwC PokeropponentsreviewOpponents
SwC Poker has very soft competition. At the moment, there will be around 300+ online players during peak hours, which is quite a small population compared to other bigger poker sites, but on the contrary, this means that if you have fewer opponents to defeat then you make more money in the tournaments. Most of the soft-competition players are found at the Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha tables.

SwC PokerTournamentsreviewTournaments
There are several tournaments available at SwC Poker. They currently provide Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and other poker variant tournaments across various limits and formats. Tournament types include Sit & Go tournaments, freeroll tournaments, multi-table tournaments, microstakes tournaments, regular tournaments, guaranteed tournaments, mixed game tournaments, and short deck tournaments.

The following can be used for withdrawal: Bitcoin only

By using Bitcoin, a popular peer-to-peer digital crypto-currency that has been in use since 2009, SwC Poker can provide players a poker site with low rake and cashouts in less than 12 hours, thanks largely to the effectiveness of this decentralised cryptocurrency. 1 Chip on SWC Poker is worth 0.000001 BTC. This unit is also known as uBtc. 1,000,000 chips is equal to 1 Bitcoin.

Good: SwC Poker is a new home for anonymus bitcoin online poker altough the company (Seals With Clubs) is around much longer now. Multiplatform software - you can play on Windows/Mac and Android devices - which by the way the strongest reason for playing here since the program itself is very clean, well-run and well-coded with a good, clean-cut design choice and not much of a system requirements - the problem is with the navigation/filtering choices within the system. Only your e-mail address is required to create an account, the cryptocurrency nature of the banking will keep you anonymus throughout playing - therefore they accept players from every country.
-----
Bad: Traffic is below average, I mean way below. Cryptocurrency-based gambling are getting traction everywhere both in Europe and around the US (online) gambling circuits, yet this site's still does not have a sizeable following nor a playerpool worth the time. The ones who are playing here are probably not fishes rather than 'early risers' or 'wannabe sharks' waiting for action. There are plenty promotional layers out there on the site though - dedicated microstake tables/tournies and freerolls, rewards program and online bounties - but they will need a more massive marketing push to put the room onto the map of online poker, because right now it's a bit underwhelming. The lack of 2 factor authentication for a crypto-based site is not great.

A new smart kid in the neighborhood! This site is an only bitcoin site of poker and makes his appearing in the time that no one has that profile. If you want to play there you have to exchange first. Reading about this new site I found an attract history that seems a booklet of an action movie. This site is a remake of SealWithClubs, one of the first Bitcoin poker sites. SealsWithClubs opened in 2012 was closed abruptly in February 2015 when Bryan Micon’s Nevada home was raided by state gaming agents. He immediately left the country for Antigua. Micon was indicted and worked out a deal with Nevada prosecutors that saw him receive no jail time and the ability to have the charges reduced to a misdemeanor upon completion of probation. Then SWC Poker takes his place and paid all the accounts of the old players, but now in the new stage, the traffic at SWC Poker is nowhere close to the levels it enjoyed at SealsWithClubs. The widespread use of Bitcoin by popular sites is no doubt one of the reasons.
The positive side of the information is that this site includes, Badugi, Badacey and Badeucy, as poker variants in funny games. Also, they announce that may process payments in less than 12 hours. And, like a crypto-facilities, some withdrawals are delivered in just an hour. And the cherry in the top of the ice-cream: players may have as many accounts as they wish and never have to give the site any personal information. This is an issue that traditional poker sites should be copied.
In the other hand (very bad things) there is very little traffic at SWC Poker. The number of cash game players there averages less than 10 and peaks at less than 30!! So, in spite of there is a lot of kind of poker´s game, can be difficult to find any games with players enough, especially at the unusual poker variants. Also, there are software problems with an annoying delay. The lag can be worse when tournaments are going, i.e.: when you discard cards and have to wait 4-5 seconds to get new ones
So, some good news, and the matter that there may have an account that is growing in value by the bitcoins, but too many daily problems
